All art schools host end-of-year foundation and degree shows, exhibitions of work by graduating students. These are an excellent way to see work by a new generation of practitioners and also to buy new art at competitive prices. It is often the first time that graduate artists present their work to an audience beyond their peer group and lecturers. These shows run for between two – four weeks and are generally open to the public. If you see sometheing you like and can afford, don't hang around - buy it!
