Nuances: George Sedgefield

Janet's work is predominantly inspired by the natural world and personal experiences. Most of her previous work and projects explored the landscape in its different forms and contexts – predominantly focusing on human interaction or relationship to it. Through her work she wants to inspire and help people reconnect, appreciate and respect nature - outside and within themselves. Genres and media of her artworks include Land Art, Drawing, Mixed Media Painting, Photography and Sculpture. "I love things that symbolize, express or honor the rhythms, seasons and cycles of nature. I believe that energy connects us within space and time to each other, the planet and everything in, on and around it. Art has the ability to strengthen these energy connections and I hope that my art and creative workshops strengthens the connection between people, nature and the creativity inherent in everyone."
