'ID' came about through an interest in mind states: ID, Ego and Superego. Here ID satisfies itself in the pleasure of depression, with paint marks smeared on its face and an abstracted lollypop drooping between its fingers. The enjoyment from its own pain is built upon a foundation of black and white, creating the clarity of the selfishness of its pleasure in pain. The marks across its face are random, adding eccentricity, while the bended lollypop is a symbol of childhood and innocence lost.
