I have worked extensively in watercolour on paper. My images explore figural gesture set down on paper through the alchemy of water, pigment, gum-arabic, and chance. Many drawings are date-stamped as an introduction to their prosaic life as artefact and commodity, the stamp being a small and necessary initial act of imperfecting.
